New Video Enables Associates to Share the Inaugural PepsiCorps Journey

A new video about PepsiCo’s inaugural PepsiCorps program gives associates an up-close view of the PepsiCorps team’s journey and accomplishments. The video, shot on location in Ghana, highlights how team members worked with local stakeholders to increase access to clean water, promote eco-tourism and improve sanitation.

The eight inaugural team members also share how the experience helped them develop leadership skills such as active listening, understanding issues from multiple perspectives and developing insights into local needs. 

“The PepsiCorps program was an absolutely amazing, life changing experience,” said PepsiCorps team member Monica Gastel, a PepsiCo associate based in Atlanta who works in PepsiCo Food Service Marketing. “While working to solve a societal problem I learned much about myself in the process.”
