New Career Re-entry Program Designed to Jumpstart Professionals’ Return to Workforce
As part of Booz Allen's long-standing partnership with the Society for Women Engineers (SWE), the firm is one of seven founding corporate member organizations launching a return to work initiative called the STEM Re-entry Task Force.
These forward-thinking companies will provide specialized re-entry internships in 2016 for talented individuals with sought-after skills and experience looking for an unparalleled, hands-on program designed to jump start their return to the workforce.
SWE has joined forces with career re-entry firm iRelaunch―an organization whose mission is to help talented professionals re-enter the workforce after a career break―as well as Booz Allen, IBM, Intel Corporation, General Motors Corporation, Caterpillar Inc., Cummins, and Johnson Controls to pilot company-specific re-entry programs providing mid-career professionals an opportunity to rejoin the workforce, share their valuable skills and expertise, and gain additional experience.
Booz Allen's Return to Work Internship Program is a paid employment program that will run for 9 weeks starting June 6, 2016, and includes opportunities in the Washington, DC Metro area, Northern VA, and Maryland for Business and Strategy Analysts, Electrical Engineers, Software Developers and Engineers, and Systems Engineers. The application process ends February 26, 2016.
