Our ProgressIn 2014, we began work to implement the Parental Support Policy. We will officially activate the new Nestlé Parental Support Policy on January 1, 2016.
Our PerspectiveOur commitment to gender balance is expressed both globally and in the United States through our Women’s Leadership Network, International Dual Career Network, support of the Network of Executive Women, Lean In Circles and ongoing efforts to increase our percentage of women managers and senior leaders. As of 2014, 25% of our senior leaders and 34% of our managers around the world were women.
We believe that diversity in our business and in our supply chain is a real asset and something that should be encouraged and nurtured. What’s more, the changing roles of women and men in society has emphasized the importance of improving gender balance at all levels of business. At Nestlé we are committed to having a diverse workforce that is reflective of our consumer base and one that fosters an inclusive culture that helps drive success.
