More Than 2,000 Next Generation Leaders to Descend on Atlanta at the 2017 Net Impact Conference in Atlanta October 26-28
October 4, 2017 /3BL Media/ - Net Impact, the leading global nonprofit that mobilizes the next generation to use their skills and careers to make a positive impact on the world, is pleased to announce more than 2,000 emerging young impact leaders will be attending the 2017 Net Impact Annual Conference in Atlanta, October 26-28.
The theme for this year’s event is Path to Purpose, and it will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center. These next-generation leaders from across the globe will be connecting with some of the most influential mentors in social change to share ideas to help accelerate world-changing projects, help build a bridge to develop an impactful career and drive positive change in their workplace and surrounding communities.
Toyota is pleased to join Net Impact as a sponsor for the fourth consecutive year and will be speaking and presenting on its leading-edge mobility platform, entitled “Mobility for All.”
“Each year, Toyota feels right at home at the Net Impact Conference because we share in the passion this community has to find solutions for big societal needs” said Doug Moore, Director, Technology for Human Support Group for Toyota Motor North America. “At Toyota, we believe that everyone should have access to tools for independence and mobility, so they can live better lives, just as they are. The Human Support Robot is a part of our mission to help people get around with greater ease – whether it’s across town or across the room.”
Moore will speak about the company’s work to enrich lives and society by advancing mobility for all. One example is its Human Support Robot (HSR), which supports people who need help with everyday tasks. Toyota will hold demonstrations of the HSR onsite during the scheduled coffee breaks at the 2017 Net Impact Conference. You can view the HSR in action at this link.
“Our organization has helped define the intersection of business and social good for 25 years and we are happy to partner with Toyota as we continue to inspire young people to drive social change through effective technology and mobility practices,” says Liz Maw, CEO of Net Impact. “Each year at our annual conference, our members are emboldened to lead and transform their passion into action and Toyota’s involvement has served as an accelerator in the transforming of new ideas for tomorrow’s leaders,” Maw added.
