Meet the 2012 VolunteerMatch Client Summit Speakers: Megan Strand
On May 17-18, 2012 VolunteerMatch will gather its corporate clients for a day and a half of learning, sharing and networking. The 2012 VolunteerMatch Client Summit will feature several sessions led by corporate social responsibility (CSR) thought leaders. In this series of posts, we’ll introduce you to each of the speakers and what they’ll discuss at the Summit.
Partnerships between companies and nonprofits are critical to solving the social and environmental challenges we collectively face. Each party brings unique assets and perspective to the table, yet it is often difficult to identify what it takes to make a successful partnership. Larger, well-known nonprofits aren’t always the answer. Megan Strand, Director of Communications of the Cause Marketing Forum will moderate a Best Practice Café on how to partner with smart nonprofits. This session will explore how to identify nonprofit partners that can extend and amplify your company’s CSR focus, and how to work collaboratively with these partners to ensure program success.
