Making the EPA Hazardous Waste Generator Improvements Rule Work for You

The regulations covering generators of hazardous waste under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) were initially promulgated in 1980. The EPA began a comprehensive review of the regulations in 2004, almost a quarter-century later. The new regulations, proposed in September 2015, make over 60 changes and technical corrections. All states must revise their hazardous waste regulatory programs by July 1, 2018.
