L’Oréal Joins Sustainability Consortium
Global Beauty Leader Reaffirms Its Commitment to Help Consumers Make More Sustainable Product Choices

(3BLMedia/theCSRfeed) New York, NY - March 3, 2010 - L’Oréal, the worldwide leader in cosmetics, long recognized for its portfolio of prestigious global beauty brands and product and marketing innovation, announced today that it joined The Sustainability Consortium, an independent group of scientists and engineers working to develop a global database of information on the lifecycle of products.
Since 2001, L’Oréal has been measuring its impact on global warming and joined the Global Compact in 2003, reinforcing its commitment to climate change.
