Lilly Celebrates Nurses As Change Agents

Today’s guest blog comes from Gini Williams, director for TB projects with the International Council of Nurses. Lilly partners with ICN through the Lilly MDR-TB Partnership.

In the 9 years since the International Council of Nurses  began its partnership with Eli Lilly and Company, more than 1,500 nurses have been trained in 18 different countries with a high burden of TB and multidrug-resistant (MDR-TB). The unique thing about our training is that the materials are developed by nurses and the courses are run by nurses with solid experience in the field of TB.
