LG Electronics USA Teams with Electronics Recyclers International for Hawaiian E-Waste Event
Consumers urged to go a step further in addressing climate change by replacing their recycled TVs with new ENERGY STAR® certified TVs
HONOLULU, November 22, 2013 /3BL Media/ – Providing Hawaiians a convenient way to responsibly recycle unwanted consumer electronics, LG Electronics USA has joined forces with Electronic Recyclers International (ERI) and T&N Computer Recycling to host a special e-waste collection event to take place in Maui County this weekend.
This opportunity for Hawaiians to dispose of their unwanted electronics in an environmentally responsible way will take place on Saturday, Nov. 23 at Henry Perrine Baldwin High School in Wailuku between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The event, sponsored by LG Electronics USA, is free to the public, and accepted items include computer equipment, televisions and mobile devices. For this special manufacturing takeback program, ERI, the largest recycler of electronic waste in the nation, safely recycles all e-waste collected across the Hawaiian islands.
