January 27 - 29, 2020, join the Corporate Community Engagement Summit in Surrey, British Columbia, presented by Volunteer Canada and their partners.
The Corporate Community Engagement Summit convenes corporate professionals managing programs and initiatives for their employees, and other stakeholders, to give back to communities – whether through volunteering, donating, learning or other civic engagement. The summit provides a forum for learning and effective practice exchange among peers, in an intimate, facilitated setting.
Learn from keynote speaker Derrick Feldmann as he discusses how companies should engage the public in their initiatives, and Kate Lally, Manager, Employee Engagement, Corporate Citizenship at TD, who will share ways TD colleagues are given opportunities beyond traditional volunteering and fundraising to have an impact in their communities while growing as individuals through The Ready Commitment.
Other sessions include:
- Corporate Community Engagement’s Role in Diversity & Inclusion – Speakers from Sun Life, Community Savings Credit Union, Volunteer Canada
- Unleashing the potential of Skills-Based Volunteering – Speakers from Taproot Foundation, Cenovus Energy, Tata Consultancy Services
- Telus’s highly successful retired employees giving programs…and sessions featuring other Corporate Community Engagement Council (CCEC) member companies as they share their expertise and experience and challenge the status quo and push for innovative approaches.
With plenary sessions, workshops and networking opportunities, the Corporate Community Engagement Summit is an exciting event where CSR and HR professionals will deepen their knowledge of corporate community engagement and connect with their peers.
