Lands' End Teams with the American Red Cross to Send Nearly 9,000 Items to Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts
Donation Includes over $600,000 Worth of Winter Coats, Boots and Blankets for Men, Women and Children
DODGEVILLE, Wis., Nov. 9, 2012 /3BL Media/PRNewswire/ -- Lands' End today announced plans to partner with the American Red Cross to donate nearly 9,000 winter weather items to the victims of Hurricane Sandy, with a retail value over $600,000. This afternoon, a team of Lands' End employees will load boxes of winter coats, boots and blankets into a 53-foot semi truck headed for the East Coast.

The truck will arrive at the American Red Cross' warehouse in Jersey City on Saturday, November 10 where they will begin bulk distribution into the hardest affected areas.
