Land Betterment Corporation Releases 2nd Annual Public Benefit Report
Land Betterment’s Annual Public Benefit Report discusses 2021 successes, 2022 goals and assessment as a benefit corporation
FISHERS, Ind., July 6, 2022 /3BL Media/ - Land Betterment Corporation (“Land Betterment” or the “Company”), an environmental solutions company fostering positive impact through upcycling former coal mining and industrial sites to create sustainable community development and job creation, is pleased to announce the publication of its 2nd Annual Public Benefit Report.
Executive Chairman, Mark Jensen commented, “2021 was a year of execution and expansion of the entrepreneurial efforts of 2020. Ideas are wonderful and valuable things. However, without ongoing hard work and determination, these ideas would not have started to bare fruit. We are blessed with a team willing to do the hard work necessary to make the results look easy. Personally, not much in business will ever compare to mobilizing 4 houses after the December tornadoes devastated western Kentucky. Providing safe and sustainable homes (plus bedding, towels and even a Christmas tree) to families displaced was one of my greatest accomplishments.”
Kirk Taylor, President and Benefit Director added, “Our Land Betterment team is without comparison. We are proud to have a fully independent board which is a rarity for private companies. The diversity of background, geography and thought, challenge us and make Land Betterment better in every way. Our diverse internal hires this year each bring unique and necessary skills to scale while keeping proper internal controls in place. We thank all of our stakeholders for their continued support and look forward to another year of growth, execution and meaningful impact.”
