Land Betterment Corporation Announces Membership into Indiana Grown
Company’s membership to the affinity group furthers its strategy and advancement in the organic farming industry
FISHERS, Ind., June 3, 2020 /3BL Media/ - Land Betterment Corporation (“Land Betterment” or the “Company”), an environmental solutions company fostering positive impact through upcycling former coal mining and industrial sites to create sustainable community development and job creation, is proud to announce its acceptance into the Indiana Grown affinity and interest group.
Indiana is the tenth-largest farm state in the nation and produces and processes some of the highest-quality products in the world including corn, soybeans, wheat, tomatoes, apples, and pork and poultry products. The Indiana Grown initiative has more than 1,500 members and more than 50 business partners, which include farmers, farmers markets, distributors, producers, processors, wineries, breweries, retailers, grocers, restaurants and hospitals. It provides a statewide branding initiative to support and help identify products harvested and produced in the state. Indiana Grown has three major components of their initiative to benefit their members:
- Helping Indiana farmers and producers have a greater market for their products.
- Supporting Indiana processors in their effort to process more Indiana Grown products.
- Educating consumers on the importance of buying Indiana Grown products.
