Kenvue Advances Its Healthy Lives Mission and Climate Action Commitment With Science-Based Targets Validation

(NYSE: KVUE) (“Kenvue” or the “Company”), the world’s largest pure-play consumer health company by revenue, today announced that its near-term greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
SBTi has validated Kenvue's near-term targets as in-line with the urgent actions needed to limit the global temperature rise to 1.5°C:
- Kenvue commits to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions1,2,3 42% by 20304 from a 2020 base year
- Kenvue also commits that 75% of its suppliers by emissions covering purchased goods and services and upstream transportation and distribution will have science-based targets by 2028.4
