Keen Footwear Hits The Road On Behalf Of The Great Outdoors
by Antonio Pasolini
Keen Footwear is hitting the road to raise awareness of the great outdoors. It started on July 29th, when a yellow, revamped '70s RV started a two-month cross-country trip to raise awareness of the importance of preserving public lands.
The action is part of a campaign called Live Monumental, aimed at preserving the places where people play outdoors. More specifically, the campaign will ask for the designation of five new national monuments: Mojave Desert (CA), Owyhee Canyonlands (OR), Birthplace of Rivers (WV), Boulder-White Clouds (ID) and Gold Butte (NV).
