We offset the greenhouse gas emissions associated with the travel of the attendees to and from this event; this contribution will help in our efforts to help solve global warming. The City of West Palm is committed to the notion that sustainability is a challenge which must be addressed at the grassroots level. The City arranged its first e4 Sustainability Summit in the winter of 2009, and it is still going strong. They recently held their 5th Annual Summit, which united local residents, students, businesses and government to focus on becoming a carbon neutral city and in turn ensure the vitality of the community. The four E’s in the title of the summit represent the interconnected elements of sustainability: the environment, economics, equity and energy.
