PINECREST, Fla., Oct. 31, 2012 /3BL Media /PRNewswire/ - JustGreen™ Lifestyle by Just Energy is pleased to announce a unique partnership with the Village of Pinecrest in Florida to offer residents and businesses a simple new option to reduce their environmental footprint through carbon offsets. Generated from carbon emission reduction projects, the carbon offset program will contribute to the municipality's goal of reducing overall greenhouse gas emissions 7% below 1996 levels, by 2014. The Village of Pinecrest is the first municipality in the State of Florida and one of the few cities in the United States to offer a volunteer carbon offset program to residents and businesses.

To celebrate the partnership, the Village of Pinecrest is hosting an inaugural "carbon neutral" event benefitting Pinecrest Gardens on Saturday, November 3rd 2012. The carbon emissions associated with the event will be offset using carbon offsets donated by JustGreen Lifestyle.
