International Paper Heads to Climate Action's Sustainable Innovation Forum 2021
MEMPHIS, Tenn., November 5, 2021 /3BL Media/ - International Paper is headed to Glasgow for Climate Action’s Sustainable Innovation Forum 2021. The hybrid event, which is taking place Nov. 8-10, is uniting heads of state and unilaterals, environment ministers, business leaders, investors and NGOs alongside the UN Climate Change negotiations at COP26 in Glasgow. The event will provide a well-established global platform for attendees to engage in the most important climate meeting of our generation, particularly as thehe role of non-state actors in the transition to net-zero is critical.

International Paper’s Matt Inbusch, senior manager, Sustainable Operations, is sharing how companies are stepping up action on climate change at COP26 Nature Day, Saturday, Nov. 6. Matt will also be collaborating with The Nature Conservancy’s Peter Ellis, global director, Climate Science, for a panel discussion at the Sustainable Innovation Forum, Tuesday, Nov. 9. Panelists will be discussing how investing in our earth’s support systems are helping reach targets outlined in the Paris Agreements.
