February 4, 2021 /3BL Media/ - This week, Intel was recognized for its commitment to equality and inclusion in the workplace, placing on Bloomberg’s Gender-Equality Index (GEI) and the Human Rights Campaign’s (HRC’s) Corporate Equality Index (CEI).

Bloomberg’s GEI recognizes public companies’ commitment to gender equality and offers a blueprint for measuring key social indicators aimed at tackling inequality in the workplace.

The HRC’s CEI is a benchmarking tool on corporate policies, practices and benefits pertinent to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ+) employees. This award recognizes Intel’s unwavering commitment to inclusion, diversity and workplace equality, specifically for the LGBTQ+ community.

Intel continues to prioritize fostering an inclusive environment, building a diverse community and culture where its technology is more accessible. For instance, looking to 2030, the company aims to increase women in technical roles by 40% and double the number of women and underrepresented minorities in senior leadership. In addition, Intel will work with other companies to accelerate adoption of inclusive business practices across industries by implementing a new “Global Inclusion Index” open standard.
