How Military Experiences Transfer into the Workplace

The skills and experiences gained during military service are not only transferable, but also a vital asset to workplace diversity. At Bloomberg, we acknowledge that value by bringing together employees who have served or currently serve in the military through our Bloomberg Military and Veterans Community group and actively recruiting and employing veterans.

This month, in which we remember the service of our veterans, we are highlighting some of our employees who transitioned from the military service to their career at Bloomberg.

For Anthony Comerico, he has been able to easily apply his organizational skills from his five years in the U.S. Marine Corps to Bloomberg. Just as he did in the military, Anthony is always cognizant of having a backup plan in his role as an Engineering Team Lead for Equity Market Drivers. He says, “We’re looking at things from different angles and have to understand the risks and how to mitigate that risk to quickly switch gears.”
