Harnessing Entrepreneurship to Support the UN Global Goals

In an interview recorded at the recent inaugural Devex World conference in Washington, D.C., Caroline Roan, Vice President, Corporate Responsibility, outlined Pfizer’s commitment to supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In particular, Caroline spoke about Pfizer’s efforts to advance new, entrepreneurial approaches to improving access to medicines and accelerating progress toward Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being, among others.
“We’re shifting a little bit and thinking about working directly with entrepreneurs,” Caroline said. “We want to learn from those entrepreneurs. We want to understand what type of innovation is happening on the ground and be able to bring that back to Pfizer and the Pfizer Foundation and figure out ways to support it.”
