This is a significant milestone in the GFSI’s journey towards a new approach to auditor qualification, and its overarching Race to the Top framework. The response, published as a podcast and summary document, provides an overview of why this consultation was so important, its main outcomes and what will happen next.
Marie-Claude Quentin, GFSI Senior Technical Manager, The Consumer Goods Forum, said, “Thank you to everyone who took part in the consultation. We appreciate your timely feedback and candour and I hope our responses help address the concerns raised. It was great to see so many positive responses and that people were taking the time to address the consultation properly. Food safety is everyone’s business, so it’s critical we continue to work together to deliver safe food for people everywhere”.
