Join DNV GL’s Masterclass in Corporate Responsibility
Whether you’re a CR, marketing, procurement professional, or an academic, consultant, or auditor, our Masterclass in Corporate Responsibility is for you.
Led by Dave Knight the Director of Sustainability Advisory Services for the USA & Canada, this training will provide essential content to develop and implement a successful corporate responsibility strategy that can help achieve long-term value for your business and its stakeholders.
As organizational stakeholders and active contributors to the GRI guidelines, the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC), and the Sustainability Account Board’s (SASB) reporting standards, our trainings incorporate know-how from the latest insights, trends, and guidelines to ensure we equip you with the most effective tools to manage your corporate responsibility strategy.
Since the launch of our courses in March 2008, we have trained hundreds of delegates across multiple industries. Our customer list includes professionals from leading companies including; BAE Systems, BAT, BSI, The Co-operative Group, Deloitte, Eni, Ernst & Young, Guardian News & Media, Maersk, Nestlé, Nokia, PwC, RBS, SGS, SK Telecom and Vodafone.
The training is broken into three modules:
A. Foundation in corporate responsibility and sustainability
An interactive insight into the meaning of sustainability, its background and the business case for making it a priority. Understand the relationship between sustainability, corporate responsibility and accountability and dive into the leading sustainability guidelines (e.g. GRI, ISO26000, AA1000): your toolbox to effective sustainability management.
B. Stakeholder Engagement: Learn to see your company through your stakeholders’ eyes
An interactive training course delivered by sustainability experts, looking at different approaches to effective stakeholder engagement, its risks and benefits, and the link between stakeholder engagement and business success.
C. Foundation in Sustainability Reporting: Who’s telling your story?
With our insight, and a series of engaging exercises, you’ll learn the key principles of effective reporting, and gain an understanding of the main reporting guidelines and standards, including the newly released GRI G4 guidelines and the Integrated Reporting Framework.
You can take all three modules together or attend one or more individual modules.
