Free & Fun Resources to Bust Vaping Myths

With Be Vape Free, educators are empowered to help students to see through common misconceptions about vaping to make healthier, more informed decisions through a suite of standards-aligned content, all available at no cost. Designed for wherever learning takes place, Be Vape Free offers engaging content for grades 5–12 on the risks of e-cigarettes.
Through three short, animated videos that combine humor and science, students can confront the realities and consequences of e-cigarettes, from toxic ingredients to tricky social norms to addiction. Combined with engaging activities, this ALL NEW video series matches education with fun to deliver a powerful message to students.
According to the Food and Drug Administration, 5 million kids in the United States currently use e-cigarettes: 1 in 4 high school students (27.5%) and 1 in 10 middle school students (10.5%). Vaping increases a person’s chance of experiencing complications from upper respiratory illnesses, and some researchers believe there exists a relationship between vaping and COVID-19 patients.
