Edge Environment Announces US Expansion and Names Bryan Sheehan Managing Director, North America

BOSTON, March 22, 2021 /3BL Media/ – The international environmental sustainability consultancy Edge Environment is extremely excited to announce the expansion of its services to clients in the United States, and the appointment of experienced sustainability leader Bryan Sheehan as Managing Director, North America, to lead that expansion.  Both moves are effective immediately. 

Since 2008, Edge Environment Pty Ltd (“Edge Global”), the parent company based in Sydney, Australia, has been helping client partners from businesses to municipalities to NGOs measure impacts, set and implement goals and strategies, and engage internal and external stakeholders to achieve their sustainability missions.  The firm’s success in developing deep client relationships and effective solutions has led to robust team growth and geographic expansion throughout Australia recently and to Chile in 2017, and now to the critical United States market.

Bryan brings nearly 12 years of experience in successfully building, leading and growing sustainability consulting firms.  He founded and grew an independent sustainability consulting practice serving SMEs from 2010 to 2013, helped US sustainability consulting firm Pure Strategies expand its market presence as a Senior Advisor from 2013 to 2017, and was the US Managing Director for international sustainability consultancy Quantis from 2017 to 2020, where he guided the US team to exceptional three-year growth and significant improvements in business processes while building a highly engaged, high-performing team.  Bryan also brings insight from over 12 years of prior career experience in the corporate world, focused on marketing and strategy in the medical device industry.  This combination of sustainability consulting leadership and corporate experience gives Bryan particularly strong insight into how to successfully lead sustainable change in organizations.

Edge’s US business has been incorporated as Edge Environment Sustainability Consulting, Inc., and will be based in Boston with a focus on serving US-based multi-national businesses and their supply chain partners, as well as municipalities and other organizations throughout the US.  In addition to his role as Managing Director, North America, Bryan will participate as a member of the Edge Global Leadership Team.
