DraftKings Celebrates Arbor Day
In honor of the 150th anniversary of Arbor Day, DraftKings is celebrating the environment & reaching its goal of funding the planting of 1M trees in collaboration with the Arbor Day Foundation and Gisele Bündchen to address areas in need of reforestation & improve the world we live in.

The impact of DraftKings’ tree planting initiative goes beyond just the environment. DraftKings’ and Arbor Day’s reforestation efforts aim to address five main reforestation rationales conducive to reforestation:
- Disaster and disease recovery
- Poverty alleviation, livelihoods and well-being
- Supporting indigenous peoples and equity
- Ecosystem resilience
- Maximizing co-benefits including: carbon sequestration, water benefits, air quality and health outcomes, and critical habitat restoration
