Domtar Procurement Forester Elected To FSC US Board
Luke Dillinger to serve on Economic Chamber
October 1, 2013 /3BL Media/ - Domtar’s Luke Dillinger was recently elected to the FSC® US Board of Directors, to serve on the Board’s Economic Chamber for a three-year term to 2016.
Luke Dillinger is Forest Certification Manager and a procurement forester at Domtar’s Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania mill. He has over twenty years of forest certification experience, and is active in the Lake States Working Group. He has a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management from Penn State University, as well as a Masters of Business Administration from Gannon University.
“Encouraging the growth of FSC with smaller landowners, the backbone of the fiber system in the U.S., is where I think we need to be putting our certification focus,” said Domtar`s Luke Dillinger, Forest Certification Manager and a procurement forester at Domtar’s Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania mill. “Connecting sustainable forest management practices to the market demand for sustainable paper has been my professional focus for the past decade, so it’s an honor to be able to continue this work as part of the FSC US Board’s Economic Chamber.”
