David C. Ray Appointed President of SAIC's Charitable Foundation
David C. Ray, senior vice president, Space Business Unit, has been appointed president of SAIC’s Charitable Foundation, a non-profit organization that assists employees and their dependents by providing emergency funds when financial hardships arise due to federally-declared natural disasters.
Ray brings extensive leadership experience to this role leading the foundation. He has worked with prominent space organizations such as the National Reconnaissance Office, NASA, and the U.S. Space Force. Before joining SAIC, Ray served as president, Government and Defense, at FLIR Systems, where he led all aspects of the company’s government and defense business, including mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to FLIR, he spent 16 years at Raytheon Company in various General Management and Business Development roles in both the hardware and services sides of the business. Ray holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the United States Air Force Academy and a Master of Science in systems management and strategy from Central Michigan University.
