The Hanes clothing company is going to sock it to Big Apple’s homeless.
Inspired by a cop who bought a pair of socks for a homeless man last week, the company will be donating 500 pairs of socks to New Yorkers in need.
The company made the announcement alongside Officer Frank Rendina, of the NYPD Transit Bureau’s Anti-Terrorism Unit, who encountered 65-year-old Richard Brown digging through a trash can at Grand Central Terminal’s subway station on Dec. 2.
