Congressional Watchdog to Speak at Global Conflict Minerals Symposium

Godwin Agbara of the Government Accountability Office just announced as another speaker at the Global Conflict Minerals Symposium coinciding with the 1-year anniversary of the Dodd-Frank Section 1502 Conflict Minerals Final Rule.  The independent, nonpartisan agency that works for Congress is charged with investigating how well federal government programs and policies are meeting their objectives.

This invitation-only event will provide senior corporate and compliance executives, regulatory officials from across the globe, leading academia and NGO officers with a forum to share their practical experience, insights, and vision for achieving conflict free sourcing practices globally with the implementation of effective regulations.
