Comcast NBCUniversal Recognized as Military Friendly Company
As Comcast NBCUniversal continues to stand out as a military-ready company, we’re honored to be listed on the 2021 Military Friendly® Employers and Military Spouse Friendly® Employers lists.
Comcast NBCUniversal received the Military Friendly Employers gold designation, a distinction given to companies setting the example through top-tier military-focused programs and initiatives.
Military Friendly®, owned and operated by VIQTORY, is the standard that measures an organization’s commitment, effort, and success in creating sustainable and meaningful benefits for the military community.
“I’m incredibly grateful for our company’s focus on our veteran, National Guard and reserve, and military spouse employees,” said Carol Eggert, SVP, Military & Veteran Affairs. “Our goal is to empower our military teammates by building an inclusive workplace culture and position our company as the military community’s employer of choice.”
Comcast NBCUniversal earned the Military Spouse Friendly designation its policies and resources that help military spouse employees have long-term careers. Our company was one of 95 across the country to secure this recognition, which we also received in 2019.
“I feel supported as both a veteran and as a military spouse, and I’m extremely proud to work for a company that encourages me to be my true self,” said Ariel Andrus, an Air Force veteran and Military Hiring Project Manager at Comcast Headquarters.
These latest awards add to a successful year of military award recognition for the company. Comcast NBCUniversal was ranked #1 on Military Times’ Best for Vets: Employers 2020 list and received the 2020 Patriots in Business Award from Chief Executive Magazine.
