The Life Science business of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, has invested in Seeding Labs’ Instrumental Access program, which accepts donations of laboratory equipment and supplies from companies and places them at universities and research institutes in developing countries.

Professors Fekadu and Ndlovu are just two of more than 2,700 research staff and faculty from around the world who benefitted from the Instrumental Access program. As participants, they received high-quality laboratory equipment that has advanced research innovations and increased STEM educational opportunities in their communities and abroad.
