CNH Industrial Supports Communities in Need in India With Sanitization Materials During the COVID-19 Pandemic
The COVID–19 pandemic has seriously impacted India’s health system. And in order to help where it can, no matter how small, CNH Industrial is determined to make contributions to local communities which really make a difference, especially in terms of infrastructure. Under the Solidarity Sanitization Project, the Company donated sets of tractors and sprayers to different locations throughout India.
The objective of the Solidarity Sanitation project is to help provide non-pharmaceutical solutions to help in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, to help in managing the outbreak by taking environmental measures such as cleaning and sanitization roads and other surfaces. The tractor and sprayer combinations will also be used to disinfect the broader environment, localities and residential areas.
The sanitization sets were destined for six different locations, in proximity to the Company’s plants in the country, including to the local government authorities in Pithampur, India, where CASE Construction Equipment has a plant. Set were also donated the Chairmen of the following local municipality areas, near to the Company’s New Holland Agriculture plant in Greater Noida: Dadri, Rabupura and Yamuna Expressway Authority. The District collector’s office in Gurugram also received a sanitization set. The final sanitization combination was delivered to local government authorities near the Pune agricultural plant, which will be used to sanitize 114 surrounding villages.
