CNH Industrial Helps to Digitize Education in Turkey

The longer the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact communities around the world, the more we are discovering that it is changing even the most familiar aspects of daily life. This impact has been especially noticeable in the growing influence of digitization across many areas, yet nowhere is it perhaps more evident than in the sphere of education, following the extended suspension of in-person learning in many countries across the world.

In Turkey the majority of schools and colleges are operating on online, with students requiring laptops, smart mobile telephones or tablets to connect. This is set against the backdrop of financial hardship for many parents. In order to assist young learners, IVECO Turkey, the commercial vehicles brand of CNH Industrial, in partnership with the Aegean Contemporary Education Foundation, has provided 72 tablets with internet access to those students who did not have access to the required tools. The donation was made to the students in Izmir and the surrounding regions.
