The Pennsylvania non-profit received $5,000 in CITGO Gift Cards to help defray transportation costs for families traveling to and from the Head Start programs, helping more children from across the county benefit from activities that promote school readiness and enhance social and cognitive development.

Head Start and Early Head Start of Fayette County provides comprehensive child development programs designed for low-income pregnant women and families with children from birth to the age of five. The organization offers highly-qualified teachers and staff, tailored programs for each individual child's needs and goals, special needs services, social services programs, and programs to educate parents and children on nutrition, heath, child development and mental health.
