Local CITGO Marketer and Station Support Annual Event Bringing Together Friends and Neighbors in Conway
CONWAY, Pa., Aug. 16, 2013 / 3BL Media /PRNewswire/ -- Local CITGO Marketer Superior Petroleum and CITGO Conway Superette showed support for their local community by taking part in the Conway Community Day Event on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013. The Conway Recreation Committee's annual event brought together local businesses, families and friends for a fun-filled day to celebrate summer.
Each year, Mayor Debbie Giska-Rose and the Committee organize and raise funds to bring together neighbors and the greater Conway community for a day full of music, food, crafts, rides and games followed by an evening fireworks display. Mayor Giska-Rose and her husband, Gary, owners of the CITGO Conway Superette, are proud to be one of many local businesses to lend support and volunteer their time to make the event a rousing success.

In addition to the Community Day Event, the Committee also coordinates an annual Easter Egg Hunt and Halloween and Christmas parties. The nine-member Committee organizes fundraisers throughout the year to subsidize these events without local tax revenue.
