The Church Brothers: Two Guys Who Know Their Way Around a Field of Lettuce

We know our suppliers are some of the best in the industry. So we’re never surprised, but we certainly are proud when they get kudos within their industry.
Tom and Steve Church, founders of Church Brothers Farms, were recently awarded the Produce Marketers for All Seasons award during this year’s Fresh Summit. The award recognizes the legacy of service and innovation that Tom and Steve have demonstrated for more than 45 years, making them a pretty big deal in Salinas Valley agriculture.
Church Brothers Farms and Wendy’s have been in business together for decades. They are part of the reason that we’re able to serve fresh, hand-chopped salads every day in each of our restaurants.
They were also given a starring role in our Profiles in Quality video, which captured some really gorgeous footage of their fields in California. Lettuce... We’ve always known that they deliver their best in all that they do, and we’re proud to see that the industry recognizes that hard work as well.
