The Centre for Sustainability and Excellence (CSE) Managing Director meets with the President of the European Council

(3BLMedia/theCSRfeed) March 16, 2010 - The Managing Director of the Centre for Sustainability and Excellence (CSE) Mr. Nikos Avlonas recently met with Mr. Herman Von Rompuy, the First President of the European Council, at the Inaugural Ceremony of the Presidency in Brussels. The event took place on February 26th, at the Museum of Art and History of Brussels.
Mr. Avlonas conversed with the First President about the importance of Sustainable Development and the initiatives CSE is undertaking in Europe and North America regarding sustainable development best practices. European businessmen and politicians were invited to the event which was organized by the AECA (American European Community Association) & PA of Europe. A few of the renowned personalities which attended the event were the US Ambassador in the E.U., Mr. William Kennard, and AECA Head of the Advising Committee, Mr. Viscounte Ettiane Davignon. The Centre for Sustainability and Excellence (CSE) is currently organizing its 3rd Roundtable Return on Sustainability (ROS) on March 25th in Chicago, IL, USA where academic and governmental representatives have registered to attend.
