CECP Announces New Leadership to Spearhead Transformative Strategic Direction
Brewster, Former Corporate Executive, Brings Senior Leadership Prespective; Coady, Authority on Corporate Community Engagement, Elevated to Executive Director Position
February 12, 2013 /3BL Media/ - With the retirement of Charles H. Moore as Executive Director, CECP has announced, effective February 19, 2013, a new management alignment, appointing Daryl G. Brewster as Chief Executive Officer and Margaret Coady as Executive Director. CECP, founded in 1999, is an unprecedented lever for societal change used by the world’s leading CEOs.
Brewster has an extensive senior executive career in consumer products, including roles as President at Kraft Foods/Nabisco Holding Company, Managing Director at Campbell Soup Company and turnaround CEO at Krispy Kreme Corporation, and since 2008, has been CEO of Brookside Management Consulting, a boutique firm providing advice to C-level executives at consumer companies, as well as to analysts and investors. He sits on the boards of several for-profit and nonprofit organizations.
Recognized as a top authority on emerging trends in corporate community engagement, Coady joined CECP in 2005 and has served as its Director since 2008. Coady's role will capitalize on the organization's new strategic plan, highlighting Top Actions that distinguish CEOs leading societal change through business, and will oversee CECP's partnership initiatives and thought leadership investments.
