CECP and Tunley Engineering Host Carbon Emission Reduction Course
Corporate leaders across business units learn the basics on carbon
NEW YORK, October 7, 2021 /3BL Media/ - Millions of new jobs may be created globally due to new climate policies and commitments, with the International Labor Organization (ILO) estimating that 24 million jobs worldwide could be created by the green economy by 2030. Companies will need talent with green skills to meet commitments and achieve their climate and sustainability goals.
To meet this need, CECP is partnering with Tunley Engineering, a UK-based engineering performance management firm on a mission to decarbonize the future, to help companies set bold commitments around carbon emission reduction and/or neutrality. Drawing from their hands-on and technical experience in engineering, these introductory courses can help Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability/ESG practitioners further their understanding on carbon measurement and reduction.
Course content focuses on universal concepts applicable to cross-sector and cross-regional companies, as well as industry-leading frameworks. Those who complete any of the courses receive a UK Accredited Training Organization certificate and one hour of one-on-one consulting from Tunley Engineering. Global companies can and register here. This course will help companies across all sectors and levels of expertise decarbonize and reach net zero emissions before it’s too late.”
“It is environmentally and economically imperative that businesses address climate change through carbon emission reduction”, said Torill Bigg, Chief Carbon Reduction Engineer, Tunley Engineering. “Carbon education, information, and training positions businesses as environmental leaders and hands them the tools to build a sustainable future.”
