Capital Area Head Start (CAHS) celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday and Read Across America Day on March 2. Parents and family members visited some classrooms to read their favorite Dr. Seuss books with students. Parent involvement in classrooms is an important part of each child's education in CAHS. Parents area a child's first and foremost teachers. We encourage parents to volunteer, visit, and get involved with their child's Head Start experience in some capacity!
Capital Area Head Start is located in Cumberland, Dauphin, and Perry Counties in Pennsylvania and is a program of Keystone Human Services.
