Boston College brings Institute on Corporate Citizenship to Minneapolis, June 13-15
Program provides knowledge and skills professionals need to be more effective
(3BL Media) Chestnut Hill, MA - May 3, 2012 - Community involvement professionals have a critical role to play in making their companies better corporate citizens. Boston College’s Institute on Corporate Citizenship can help those professionals take steps to ensure that community involvement is aligned with the larger corporate citizenship vision and strategy.
This program will be presented in Minneapolis by Boston College’s Center for Corporate Citizenship, June 13-15. It translates the complex concepts, ideas and language of corporate citizenship into practical and useful models and tools. Through exercises, lectures, examples, case studies and small group interactions, this 2 ½ day program provides a solid foundation of corporate citizenship and enhances community involvement professionals’ ability to contribute effectively to their firm's success.
Participants in the Institute on Corporate Citizenship will:
- Get grounded in principals of good corporate citizenship and assess their company's stage of corporate citizenship development
- Leave with management tools to better assess the stakeholders and issues material to their businesses
- Connect – and share insights and learning – with managers from other companies who are wrestling with similar community involvement management challenges
- Improve their ability to secure buy-in and engagement from executives and others inside the company who are critical to their success.
