Bombardier Listed on Newsweek Green Rankings 2012
October 31, 2012 /3BL Media/ - For the first time, Bombardier has been listed among the Newsweek Green Rankings 2012, a cross-sectoral, environmental ranking of the 500 largest publicly traded companies in the world. Bombardier is ranked 89 out of the 500 companies, and third within its sector, Aerospace and Defence, comprised of 12 companies. Bombardier’s overall green score was 68.8, while the highest score in the sector was 70.
Established in 2009 by U.S. magazine Newsweek and produced in collaboration with environmental research organizations Trucost and Sustainalytics, the Green Rankings compare the environmental impact, management practices and sustainability communications of the companies assessed.
