Bloomberg LP Signs Armed Forces Covenant

Bloomberg LP has announced that it recently signed the Armed Forces Covenant, a promise that those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces of the Crown, and their families, are treated with fairness and respect in their communities, economy, and society for which they serve with their lives.
By signing the Covenant, Bloomberg is reinforcing its commitment to support serving personnel, service leavers, veterans and their families by fostering relationships between business and the Armed Forces, and supporting employment opportunities for veterans, service spouses and partners.
In supporting those who serve, have served, and their families, and the value they bring to our business, Bloomberg will seek to uphold the principles of the Covenant by:
- Promoting that it is a military friendly organisation;
- Supporting veterans and allies through the Bloomberg Military Veterans Community;
- Running Insight days to support the employment of service leavers; and
- Encouraging the support of non-profit organisations who work with the military community.
Bloomberg has a long and proud history of celebrating its veterans and showcasing the leadership and unique skills they bring to the workforce, while honouring their service and contributions. This is done via the company’s Military and Veterans Community (BMVC), which brings together employees who have served or currently serve in the military, military families, and supporters who promote and maintain Bloomberg as a military-friendly work environment.
