Bloomberg Hosts a Digital Tea Party for Charity Partner Age UK

This week, we invited 50 guests to join us for a digital tea party in our London office from Age UK, the UK’s largest charity dedicated to helping individuals over 60 make the most of later life.
We also invited our chairman, Peter Grauer, and 15 students from Petchey Academy, a local school which regularly partners with Bloomberg on mentoring and educational initiatives, to join.
Students and Bloomberg volunteers spent the afternoon helping our guests get to grips with mobile devices, the internet and other digital applications to help them to access the social advantages technology can bring to people of all ages. The tea party kicked off a broad program of events and initiatives celebrating London Technology Week.
