BET News Presents: “A March for Action” Friday, August 28 at 11am ET on BET
On Friday, August 28, BET will air a News special titled “A MARCH FOR ACTION.” Hosted by Marc Lamont Hill, the LIVE two-hour production will look to address the issue of police brutality, and provide coverage of the National Action Network Commitment March: Get Your Knee Off Our Necks.
The march marks the 57th anniversary of the March On Washington and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s I Have A Dream Speech. With the Lincoln Memorial as a backdrop, the call to action day will feature a number of speakers and musical performances. In addition, BET will provide historical context as well as discuss why this renewed call to action is critical as our nation prepares for the biggest presidential election in a generation.
