Local CITGO Marketer Hosts Clean-Up Event at Detroit CITGO Station
DETROIT, Aug. 12, 2014 /3BL Media/ – Local CITGO Marketer Barrick Enterprises, Inc. and CITGO Petroleum Corporation teamed up to host a clean-up event at the H A&Z CITGO station located at 1841 E. State Fair in Detroit, Mich. More than 20 community members and Barrick employees gathered to remove graffiti, paint buildings and plant flowers at the station.
“We were eager to host this clean-up project,” said Greg Barrick, vice president of Barrick Enterprises. “The local communities have become so involved in cleaning up the Detroit neighborhoods. This was the perfect opportunity to do our part. This project was a great success and we hope to plan more clean-up events like this at our other Detroit area locations.”
The clean-up event was part of Barrick’s latest mission to revamp the Detroit community by enhancing local community stations.
