Avista Partners to Highlight Native American Heritage Month

Avista has joined with Spokane, Wash. ad agency BHW1 to raise awareness about National Native American Heritage Month during November. This specially designated month has been celebrated nationally since President Bush declared it in 1992 and now, following legislative leadership in Washington state, it will be highlighted in the Inland Northwest. Over its 125-year history, Avista has been proud to develop and nurture strong partnerships with the Native American tribes in our service area, sharing common values and collaborative efforts in resource stewardship, community and economic vitalization, education.
