Atlas Copco Delivers Shareholder Value by Integrating Diversity and Sustainability Into Its Business Strategy
A diversified workforce is the cornerstone of any good business, and diverse perspectives and experiences help strengthen the competence of a team. In the long run, the Group sees sustainability as a win-win opportunity to create value for all stakeholders – including traditional investors and shareholders. Atlas Copco was the proud host of an information meeting arranged by the Swedish investor network for women, Feminvest. The meeting was situated in Atlas Copco old test mine, 20 meters below ground under our headquarters in Sickla, Sweden. Our investor relations officer Karin Larsson, who greeted the group of investors, happily summarized the discussions as both versatile and with a strong focus on long-term issues such as sustainability, a key aspect of the Atlas Copco brand. We hope that our guests enjoyed the occasion and that they will spread the word about Atlas Copco as a company truly committed to sustainable productivity.
“It is fun to host a dialogue with such an engaged audience. I feel that women tend to ask about more long-term issues and show a great interest in the areas of strategy and sustainability,” says Karin Larsson, who works with Investor Relations and Business Intelligence at Atlas Copco, “This is why I believe women investors represent an untapped potential for many investment companies."
