Atlantic City Electric Celebrates Infrastructure Week
As we celebrate Infrastructure Week, we want to highlight our Beach Haven Battery Storage Project. This initiative, located at our decommissioned substation in Beach Haven, NJ, represents our commitment to a smarter, stronger, and cleaner energy grid for South Jersey. By installing a state-of-the-art battery storage system, we aim to enhance energy service reliability for Beach Haven and Long Beach Island, especially during peak demand periods.
The project includes the installation of advanced technology such as fiber optics, modern battery modules, and comprehensive safety measures. This effort is a significant part of our broader strategy to fortify the energy infrastructure across southern New Jersey, ensuring resilience and minimizing outages.
